A two vehicle collision on July 9th 2016 at Hwy 97A and Harding Rd in Armstrong sent several people, including a toddler, to hospital.
On July 12th, 2016 just after 10:00 am, Squamish RCMP members attended to a single vehicle rollover collision, northbound on Hwy 99, just south of the Loggers Creek Bridge, in Lion’s Bay.
The Traffic Services Section of the Prince George RCMP is committed to reducing the number of collisions at high-risk locations within the City of Prince George. Utilizing 2013 data derived from our partners at ICBC, the RCMP looked at all collisions that occurred at these high-frequency locations.
On June 26, 2016 at approximately 2:30 p.m. reports were received of a collision between a tractor trailer and a motorcycle near Hydro Hill on Hwy 4 approximately 28 km east of the highway junction leading to Ucluelet and Tofino.
Just before 8 am on Thursday June 23rd, 2016, Shawnigan Lake RCMP received a report of a two vehicle collision on the Malahat just north of the Split Rock view point. Preliminary investigation indicates, a Mazda pickup truck travelling southbound on Highway 1 towards Victoria crossed the centre line of the Highway, colliding with a northbound Chevrolet pickup truck.
A 35 year old man is facing charges of Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking following a traffic stop yesterday.
On Thursday May 12th at approximately 9:30pm, an alert RCMP Officer discovered more than he bargained for, when he stopped a vehicle for speeding on Highway #1 in Burnaby, BC.
The May long weekend marks the start of an annual increased crack down on unsafe or dangerous driving behaviours by RCMP traffic units. But this year the RCMP has a few new tools to help them nab drivers who are potentially putting others’ lives at risk.
At approximately 7:40 AM on May 4th, Squamish RCMP and members from the Sea to Sky Traffic Services were dispatched to a two vehicle motor vehicle collision, on Highway 99 near Brunswick Beach Road in Lions Bay.
